Cloudy satellite images are hidden by default in the timeline as the biomass layers cannot be applied to them and therefore Variable N-Rate Application (VRA) Maps cannot be created with such images.
But you can still view cloudy satellite images and check whether they are actually cloud-free by proceeding as follows:
- Click on SHOW CLOUDY DAYS in the timeline below the field map.
- Now each satellite image regardless of cloud cover is shown in the timeline. Cloudy images are marked with a cloud icon. Click on HIDE CLOUDY DAYS to hide cloudy images again.
- A biomass map generated from a cloudy satellite image will look like in the below picture. Click on the map layer tile in the lower right corner of the map and select FIELD VIEW.
- You will see a recent satellite image at low resolution of the field. With this view you can check whether the image is really cloudy or cloud-free. The satellite image should no longer have cloud cover and look similar to this image. Such image can now be used for creating Variable N-Rate Application (VRA) Maps.
