The comparison view allows you to compare your field's biomass on two selected dates to benchmark growth, identify anomalies and strategize actions. Follow the steps below to compare biomass.

1) Select your field

1. From a computer: Log in to the Atfarm web app from your desktop browser. / On mobile: Log in to the Atfarm mobile app on your mobile device.
2. Select the desired farm in the farm overview.
3. Select the desired field in the field overview.
4. The field page opens with the latest biomass map of your field.
5. Web app: Click Compare dates in the bottom right corner. / Mobile app: Click the comparison icon on the map.

2) Select dates

You can see two maps showing the field with a biomass layer applied to the satellite image taken on each of the selected dates.

Compare the biomass of your field as follows:

1. Click on the date picker above each map and select the map dates you want to compare.
   
   • Because biomass maps can only be produced from clear satellite imagery, a cloud detection algorithm filters out cloudy images. On web, cloudy days are marked with a ☁️ icon.
2. Web app: Click on the map layer tile in the bottom right corner to select different map types to be applied to view in-field variability. / Mobile app: Click the map icon in the bottom right corner to select different map types to be applied to view in-field variability.
   
   • Each biomass map uses a different color scale to show in-field variability which you can see below the map. Find details on all available satellite map types here and biomass map types here.

3) Monitor biomass

You can now see the maps for the selected dates. Here are some tips for monitoring the biomass:

• Web app: Move the map around by clicking and holding down the mouse and dragging the map. / Mobile app: Move the map with your finger.
• Web app: Zoom in and out of the map using the mouse wheel or the + and - buttons on the map. / Mobile app: Zoom in and out of the map by pinching the map.
