How can I set an update interval to export biomass changes to John Deere Operations Center™?

Atfarm lets you remotely monitor your fields for free using regularly updated satellite images. These images are processed with vegetation indices to generate detailed biomass maps.

The Yara N-Sensor Index sets Atfarm apart. Using crop- and region-specific calibrations, Atfarm generates optimised biomass maps that show variability in crop development, even at advanced growth stages. These maps can be automatically exported to John Deere Operations Center™ at your chosen update interval, allowing you to seamlessly track biomass changes in your account.

Please note:

Biomass images can only be exported for fields with an assigned crop type. Read here how to assign crop types.

Proceed as follows to set the biomass update interval:

  1. Log in to the Atfarm web app from your desktop browser.
    • The connection to John Deere Operations Center™ can only be made from the Atfarm web app in your desktop browser, not from the Atfarm mobile app on your mobile device.
  2. Click Account in the left navigation bar.
  3. Click the desired update interval under Field data sync:
    • Daily
    • Weekly
    • Monthly
    • Turn off
  4. The biomass upload from Atfarm to John Deere Operations Center™ will take place at midnight Central European Time (CET) at the interval you've selected.
