How do I synchronise updated farm and field data from John Deere Operations Center™?

The details of imported John Deere farms and fields, such as name, field boundaries, crop class and crop type, can't be changed in Atfarm. To update the details of your John Deere farms and fields, please do this in the John Deere Operations Center™ and then synchronise Atfarm with John Deere as described below.

Please note:

• This synchronisation only works between existing fields. Newly added fields from a farm in the John Deere Operations Center™ won't be synchronised and need to be imported. Read here how to import farms and fields from the John Deere Operations Center™.

Proceed as follows to synchronise farm and field data:

1. Log in to Atfarm from your desktop browser.
   • The connection to John Deere can only be made from the Atfarm web app in your desktop browser, not from the Atfarm mobile app on your mobile device.
2. Click Account in the left navigation bar.
3. Click Sync now to synchronise the updates made to all your farm and fields in the John Deere Operations Center™.
4. Once all changes have been imported, you'll receive a confirmation.
   • If the synchronisation fails, please try the following:
     1. Check if the account connection has been disconnected from the John Deere Operations Center™ account. If the connection has been cancelled on the John Deere side, Atfarm won't know this and will still show the accounts as connected. In this case, please reconnect the accounts.
     2. Check that the John Deere fields are all within Atfarm's field size limits and have valid outer and inner boundaries that don't overlap or intersect.
     3. Disconnect and reconnect the Atfarm account to the John Deere Operations Center™ account. Read here how to cancel the connection.
     4. If the synchronisation still fails, please contact our support team.
5. If the crop class and crop type of your fields have been updated, assign these details to the fields in Atfarm. Read here how to to proceed.
