If you've connected John Deere Operations Center with your Atfarm account and want to import more farms and fields, proceed as follow:
-
Log in to Atfarm from your desktop browser.
- The connection to John Deere can only be made from the Atfarm web app in your desktop browser, not from the Atfarm mobile app on your mobile device.
- Click Operations Center in the top right corner of the farm overview.
- Tick the box next to a farm from the list of your John Deere farms to select all its fields for import. To import specific fields only, click the arrow next to a farm to view all fields, then tick the box next to a field to select it for import.
- For each farm you can see how many fields the farm has in total, which organisation the farm belongs to, and how many fields have already been imported to Atfarm.
- If you're missing an organisation from the list, you can select additional organisations in the John Deere Operations Center™ for Atfarm to import from.
- Click Import fields to start the import.
- Once all the fields have been imported, the imported fields counter next to the farm updates. Click the arrow next to a farm to see all the fields and their import status.
-
If the import fails, please try the following:
- Check if the account connection has been disconnected from the John Deere Operations Center™ account. If the connection has been cancelled on the John Deere side, Atfarm won't know this and will still show the accounts as connected. In this case, please reconnect the accounts.
- Check that the John Deere fields you want to import are all within Atfarm's field size limits and have valid outer and inner boundaries that don't overlap or intersect.
- Disconnect and reconnect the Atfarm account to the John Deere Operations Center™ account. Read here how to cancel the connection.
- Check that this Atfarm account is the only one connected to the John Deere Operations Center™ account. If the fields have already been imported to another Atfarm account from the same John Deere Operations Center™ account, the import will fail. If more than one Atfarm account is connected to the John Deere Operations Center™ account, disconnect the other Atfarm accounts so that only one account is connected. Read here how to cancel the connection.
- Re-select the fields that failed and try the import again.
- If the import still fails, please contact our support team.
-
If the import fails, please try the following:
- Click Continue to go to the overview of your Atfarm farms.
- Your imported John Deere farms will now be listed in the farm overview of your Atfarm account and marked with a special label.
- Now assign the crop class and crop type for each imported field to ensure that the correct crop class and type are selected, so Yara's crop-specific calibrations can be applied. Read here how to proceed.
Please note:
The details of imported John Deere farms and fields, such as name, field boundaries, crop class and crop type, can't be changed in Atfarm. To update the details of your John Deere farms and fields, please do this in the John Deere Operations Center™ and then synchronise Atfarm with the John Deere Operations Center™.
